Victory in Sight: ONA Nurses Reach Tentative Agreement After 40+ Days on Strike!

After 43 days of unwavering strength, solidarity, and determination, and following three days of intensive mediation, ONA RN Bargaining Teams at Providence Portland, Providence St. Vincent, Providence Newberg, Providence Seaside, Providence Milwaukie, Providence Willamette Falls, and Providence Hood River have secured, and strongly recommend, passage of a tentative agreement with Providence Oregon. Providence Medford has also reached a TA with a neutral recommendation.

This powerful step forward reflects the resilience of our nurses and the collective power of standing together.

We are Strongest Together

Almost 5,000 ONA nurses and clinicians across nine Providence facilities in Oregon have come together to win critical staffing protections, share common concerns and advocate collectively to strengthen the voice of nursing within the Providence system and across the state.
