The ONA Government Relations staff and volunteers advocate for the best working conditions for our members and the very best health care for our patients. Through our work, frontline caregivers make a difference in patients' lives each day. We reach out to community partners, elected officials and other health care organizations advocating for these same goals.
Advocacy work in Salem and during elections helps ONA achieve its policy goals and improve frontline caregivers ability to provide high-quality care that Oregonians need and deserve.
The government relations department staffs the Cabinet on Health Policy and the ONA Political Action Committee (PAC).
