The ONA House of Delegates (HOD) will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2020. During the HOD, delegates will review and vote on potential resolutions and proposed amendments to the ONA Bylaws. Before the House of Delegates can vote on a proposed amendment or resolution, it must be submitted to the bylaws committee for review.
Members can submit amendments up to 45 days prior to the HOD and the amendment will require two-thirds vote to pass. Any amendments submitted within 45 days of the HOD would require a 99 percent vote to pass.
The ONA Bylaws Committee will be meeting in October and November to review proposed bylaws amendments and determine whether to support them. If you would like to have an amendment reviewed for potential support, please submit the amendments as soon as possible. Amendments submitted closer to the HOD will be reviewed, but may not be given full support of the board.
