Clinical ladder negotiations began May 12, 2014. We began formal mediation on Nov. 21. We met again with the mediator on Jan. 6, 2015 and made some progress. We have a join Providence/ONA workgroup meeting scheduled for March 8 to work on the Clinical Ladder criteria, application and renewal materials. We were pleased that the Oregon Business Journal published a story on October 13 on the importance of the Clinical Ladder and bed-side nurse driven projects in decreasing infection rates.
