ONA Student Affiliate Membership
ONA has developed a close relationship with the Oregon Student Nurses Association (OSNA) to advance and promote the field of nursing at every level, from education to practice, now and for generations to come. To foster this relationship, membership in OSNA and the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA) grants you Student Affiliate Membership in ONA.
Membership in Three Steps
- Join NSNA by going to www.nsnamembership.org and sign up for new membership.
- By joining NSNA online, you become a member of the OSNA. Visit www.oregonsna.org to learn more about OSNA and what it can do for you!
- After you receive your OSNA membership confirmation, contact ONA here to request your ONA Student Affiliate Member information.
Please note if you have your RN license, you are not eligible to join ONA as a student affiliate. However, RNs who are currently enrolled full-time in, or are recent graduates of, nursing programs may be eligible to receive discounts on ONA Professional Association membership.
Oregon Student Nurses' Association (OSNA)
OSNA is the Oregon state chapter of the National Student Nurses’ Association (NSNA). If you are a nursing student in Oregon, or interested in learning more about becoming a nurse, we hope that you find the support and information you need for your journey to become a nurse on their website.
Benefits of Membership
Dues Reduction for New Graduates
For a new graduate of a basic nursing program (within six month after licensure) or a graduate of an advanced practice nursing program (within six months following graduation), you are eligible for a 50% reduced dues rate for the first year of membership. If you were a member of the OSNA during your schooling, you can qualify for an even greater discount. Scholarship Opportunities
ONA is compiling resources to help connect students with scholarship opportunities. The Oregon Nurses Foundation provides scholarships for students and you can find a list of other scholarship resources here.
