ONA Board of Directors Bios

Lynda Pond, RN
Lynda Pond, ADN, RN, Sacred Heart Medical Center (SHMC), Eugene joined the ONA board of directors in 2015. Before that, she was the chair of the Cabinet on E&GW. Lynda served as a member of the SHMC grievance committee, co-chair of the staffing committee, a bargaining team member, chair of the PNCC (2000-2001) and District 5 board member.
Lynda was a key participant in the implementation of HB 2800 and currently sits on the advisory committee of the ONA-Oregon Association of Hospitals and Health Systems (OAHHS). Lynda is a hospital charge nurse and her primary nursing specialty is maternal and child health.

Jacqueline Dillon, BSN, RN, PCCN
Vice President

Jacqueline Dillon, RN, currently practices at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis. She is the vice-president of the bargaining unit and serves as a union steward and is a member of the PNCC and staffing committee. She is a certified progressive care nurse.
Jacqueline is a graduate of ONA's Nurse Leadership Institute (NLI), as one of the nurses in the programs first cohort. In her spare time, she likes to quilt, travel and spend time with her daughter.
Allison Seymour, BSN, RN

Allison Seymour works on a medical telemetry care unit at Salem Health. She is a recent graduate of the OHSU School of Nursing in La Grande, OR. Allison joined ONA as a student affiliate member in 2015 and has been active in ONA's advocacy work. She currently serves on ONA's political action committee boards and has worked as a release-time nurse to help elect ONA-supported candidates. 

Allison is a former winner of the Susan E. King Emerging Leader in Nursing Practice Award and is a graduate of ONA's Nurse Leadership Institute (NLI). 

Tamara "Tamie" Cline, CNOR, RN
Tamie Cline has been an ONA member since 2001 and has served as a bargaining unit leader at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston since 2009. 

She is currently vice-chair of the ONA/Good Shepherd executive committee and serves on her bargaining team. 

She was a member of ONA's Cabinet on Economic & General Welfare from 2015-2018 and was an AFT delegate in 2018. 

Melinda Colón, BSN, RN, CMSRN

Melinda Colón has worked as an RN at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center since 2011. She previously worked there as a CNA. 

She is a current member of her bargaining team and a med/surg charge nurse.

Melinda graduated from ONA's Nurse Leadership Institute (NLI) in 2017.

Sue Phillips, RN
Position #1

Sue Philips is a longtime leader at Providence Portland Medical Center (PPMC) where she has served as a unit steward, PNCC chair, executive team member and as bargaining unit chair. 

She has also served as a delegate to both ANA and AFT. She began her first term on ONA's board of directors in 2017.

Robert Campbell, RN
Position #3

Rob Campbell has been a nurse for more than 30 years. He has experience in the PACU, ICU, CCU, ER and currently works as an endoscopy charge nurse at Rogue Regional Medical Center (RRMC) in Medford. 

Rob is passionate about safe nurse staffing and has worked to raise staffing standards while serving on Oregon's Nurse Staffing Advisory Board and ONA's Cabinet on Health Policy. 

He is a member of RRMC's executive team and its negotiating team.
