Thank you to all St. Charles Bend nurses who have voted in the current Executive Team elections thus far.
Unfortunately, due to a series of technical issues and concerns, ONA suspended the elections on Sept. 30 and invalidated all votes cast to that point. A new in-person election will take place Oct. 9-11, as detailed below. Thank you for your patience and your continued support of ONA. These are important elections, so we want to be 100% certain we get this right: your patience is deeply appreciated.
New In-Person Election, Oct. 9-11

- in the East Dining Room in St. Charles
Note: If you voted online, you must cast an in-person vote to be counted. All online votes have been invalidated and will not count in the election.

Process
The
STC-B/ONA executive committee shall consist of nine (9) members (see
below). Seven candidates will be chosen in this election, as a separate
election for Staffing Committee Chair and PNCC Chair is run within those
committees.**
- Chairperson
- Vice-Chair
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Membership
- Grievance Chair
- Unit Representatives Chair
- PNCC Chair (elected in PNCC and then seated with executive committee)
- Staffing Committee Chair (elected in staffing committee and then seated with executive committee)
**Joel
Hernandez Staffing, Committee Chair and Neysa Larson, PNCC Chair are
seated in the Executive Committee per ONA Bylaws and are elected via the
charters of their respective committees.
Candidates do not
run for a specific seat. The seven (7) candidates who receive the most
votes will be elected to the committee. The current Executive Committee
has asked that the next five (5) candidates who receive the most votes
be seated as alternates. (The availability of seven alternate positions
was erroneously indicated in the nomination communications because the
PNCC and Staffing Committee Chairs were accidentally not removed from
this count.) As per the St. Charles - Bend bargaining unit bylaws, the newly elected team members will elect to fill each
individual committee role from among themselves.
