The ONA House of Delegates (HOD) will be held May 18, 2022, during which potential resolutions and proposed amendments to the ONA Bylaws will be presented and voted on by delegates. Before the HOD can vote on a proposed amendment or resolution, they must be submitted to the bylaws committee for review (as per the ONA Bylaws Article VI).
The deadline to submit bylaws amendments is April 3, for amendments that can pass with a 2/3 vote. Amendments submitted after April 3 have to pass by a 99% vote of the HOD (Article XIV). Resolutions can be submitted until May 17 and can be passed with a majority vote. However, it is recommended that they are submitted as early as possible for inclusion in delegate packets and educational events.
