Please read the Nov. 27 Newsletter for important information about the Education fund and leave.

Demand to Bargain over RQI / Training Time

We met in October and November and have been exchanging proposals. Click here for ONA's Nov. 27 proposal. We are close to a resolution, but have reached a hurdle with administration over how to gather direct evaluation and feedback from the nurses that use the online modules. Management’s Healthstream Survey questions do not address the questions we want to ask.  We will be discussing this again in Labor Management Task Force on Feb. 5 and will send updates when we have more information.

Flu Policy Enforcement Announcement

Providence has notified ONA that it will enforce the flu policy more vigorously beginning in 2019. For updates on the enforcement process, please read the Nov. 27, 2019 newsletter.

Peds and PICU

Peds and PICU nurses meet with ONA and management regarding mandatory scheduling moves on August 11. Lack of clarity remains regarding how management is applying the contract language when mandatory moves are made, we are continuing to work on this issue and will have more updates coming soon.
