Bargaining Information

We have spent the last few months negotiating the foundation of our union contract with Providence. It’s been hard work and detail-heavy but we feel good about the work we have done. IT’S NOT OVER! We want to be clear about what’s around the corner.

We are coming up on the most difficult and important parts of the contract aimed at establishing BETTER STAFFING & COMPENSATION!

We are going to need to mobilize inside the clinic and in the community.
We need to sharpen and improve how our union functions.
We need to identify and mobilize allies in the community.
We need to be able to explain to potential allies how our contract demands intersect to support their desire for high quality medical care.

It’s the same fight: our desire for a strong union and the public's desire for affordable and high-quality care. By standing together, we both win.

On Tuesday, February 4 at 8 p.m. we will conduct a Zoom meeting to review what we have negotiated so far. Much more importantly we will lay out our mobilization plan, including what we need to do TO WIN THE THINGS WE DESERVE!
