Voter Registration

The Oregon Nurses Association works hard to be the voice of our profession in Oregon and we want to encourage you to make sure your voice is heard during the 2012 election and every election following.

Whether it is at the national, state or local level, elected officials make decisions that have a direct impact on you, on your profession and on your patients. That is why it is so crucial that every nurse in Oregon is registered to vote so that we can make our voices heard on the most important issues of the day.

Ensure the voice of nursing is heard- REGITSTER TO VOTE TODAY!

Please remember that Oregon is a "vote by mail” state, so the Oregon Elections Division needs to have your updated address to ensure they deliver your ballot to you. If you have moved, changed your address, or if you are unsure if you are registered or not, please take a moment to check your voter registration status online by visiting the Secretary of State’s website at Just click on the "My Vote” tab to check your status.

Once you’ve checked your voter registration status, it’s easy to update your registration, or register for the first time online. (If you prefer to fill out a paper form we can mail you one, or you can pick it up at any post office or DMV.)

With statewide health system transformation progressing, and a continued national scale attack on organized labor, this election will undoubtedly be very important, and we want to ensure that every nurse in Oregon has the opportunity to make their voices heard! Please, take the time to register, or update your registration, and then vote
