Regional Forums: What Will the CCO Rules Mean for You?

ONA Co-Sponsored Regional Forums with Special Guest: OHA Director Bruce Goldberg

The state is expected to certify initial CCOs by the end of June, with an expected "start date" of early August. Nearly $500 million in federal funding may be provided to help ensure that providers and populations operating within new CCO structures do not see the 25% + rate cuts that would be imposed if federal funding were not available.

Five regional forums, sponsored in part by ONA, will let you hear first-hand from OHA leaders, what you must do to form, apply for and become a CCO, and thus become eligible for state and federal funding through this new, reorganized system of care delivery to the Medicaid population.

These forums will outline the criteria, timelines and expectations for CCOs, providers and organizations who want to contract with a CCO, and other community members, patients and organizations interested in participating in this transformed delivery system.

Forums are being planned in April for:

  • Monday, April 2 in Bend
  • Wednesday, April 11 in Hood River
  • Tuesday, April 17 in Portland
  • Thursday, April 19 in Eugene
  • Tuesday, April 24 in Medford
