Great CE Opportunity: Improvement Skills to Empower Front-Line Nurses

NEW call series from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI)

An October 2010 Institute of Medicine (IOM) report states that nurses need new competencies to deliver high-quality care. The IOM recommends these new skills include “leadership, health policy, system improvement, research and evidence-based practice, teamwork, and collaboration.”

The start of the new year is the perfect time to refresh current practices by learning new approaches. Join Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) on one, two, or all three calls in a new audio series, Improvement Skills to Empower Front-Line Nurses. Each hour-long call will offer tested strategies and improvement ideasfor building will and increasing joy in nursing, pushing change from where you stand, and getting more done in a clinical setting. Each call costs only $25, and offers an hour of continuing education credit.
