The 2018 ONA convention and House of Delegates at the Riverhouse Hotel and Convention Center in Bend on Wednesday, April 18 through Friday, April 20, 2018.

This convention will have continuing education opportunities on Wednesday, April 18 and Thursday, April 19 and the ONA House of Delegates on Friday, April 20. With a theme of advocacy, this convention will feature wonderful sessions and discussions on advocating for patients, advocating for your colleagues in the workplace, advocating for policy in the legislature and more!


Call for ONA Delegates

ONA invites you to bring your voice and perspective to the ONA House of Delegates (HOD), held April 20, 2018 in Bend.

The HOD is ONA’s Primary governing body. As a HOD delegate, you will hear from ONA’s Board of Directors, Cabinets, Constitution Associations and other leadership groups and discuss and vote on resolutions, amendments and other initiatives.

We need both experienced and first-time delegates to join us in Bend for ONA’s 2018 House of Delegates, so sign up now!

Registration for Convention

Nurses must register for the ONA Convention. Whether you are attending the entire convention, or only the CE days or House of Delegates, you must register to attend.

Note: If you are a delegate for the House of Delegates, you must still register so we have an accurate head count.

Registration is now open through April 6, 2018.

* Join ONA while registering and save on fees (one year membership required). 

Special Registration Fees

  • ONA Retired Members may attend all three days of the Convention for only $25.
  • ONA 50-year Members may attend all three days of the Convention for Free! 
  • Non-Member students may attend for $25 per day they attend.

Special registrations are not available online, so please print, complete and submit this paper registration form instead.

Registration Funding and Reimbursement

Opportunities to receive funding to attend the convention and house of delegates exist, either through their contract language or their constituent association, and we encourage all nurses to look into their funding options here.

Please note that due to labor laws, we are unable to take registration fees directly from hospitals, so each registrant must pay for their own registration and then seek reimbursements through the various opportunities.

Continuing Education

Learners can earn up to 18.0 continuing nursing education contact hours.

Oregon Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Convention Reception

We invite all attendees to join us for the ONA Convention Reception on Thursday, April 19 from 7-9:30 p.m. We will have entertainment, food and many opportunities to socialize with your colleagues from around the state! The reception is free for attendees. If you would like to bring a guest, you can purchase a guest ticket for $25 during registration.

Hotel and Lodging

ONA has reserved a block of rooms at the Riverhouse on the Deschutes for attendees. The block of rooms are reserved for ONA members at a special convention pricing, though attendees are responsible for reserving and paying for their own lodging. The breakout sessions fall into one of three tracks: practice, policy and labor. You can choose sessions from any track during each breakout session.
