By the end of the presentation, participants will be able to:
- Discuss the benefits of dissemination through publication;
- Describe the process for preparing and submitting a manuscript for publication; and
- Identify the ethical and legal principles related to publication.

Who Can Attend?
Any CNS in Oregon, in a graduate nursing program, and/or recognized by the Oregon State Board of Nursing is welcome to attend. CNS students are also welcome to attend, space permitting.
Continuing Nursing Education Contact Hours
This program is pending approval by the Oregon Nurses Association which is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Oregon Nurses Association is approved as a provider of continuing nursing education by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider No. CEP 15089.
Requirements for Successful Completion of this CNE Activity
In order to obtain a Certificate of Successful Completion for this activity, the learner must complete the following criteria:
- Sign the Attendance Form upon arrival to the meeting
- Attend the presentation portion of the meeting
- Complete and submit the online evaluation form by March 16, 2016
Any participant who has NOT claimed their contact hours by March 16, 2016 will NOT receive a Certificate of Successful Completion.
