ONA will keep members apprised on new information about H1N1 that affects their practice through the website, Friday e-mail and special e-mail and mail alerts as necessary.

The Oregon Public Health Flu Hotline for H1N1 is 1-800-978-3040 (8 am - 6 pm Monday - Friday and 9 am - noon Sat/Sun & holidays) or E-mail flu.help@state.or.us. Starting November 12, the Oregon Public Health Flu Hotline will include medical triage services for the general public. A caller transferred to the triage line will speak with a licensed healthcare provider about symptoms or exposure.

H1N1 Survey
Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey. The information provided in the survey will help us to determine the experience of direct care registered nurses during the recent H1N1 influenza epidemic. The information from the survey will be shared with the Oregon Department of Human Services and Public Health and leaders and members of Oregon Nurses Association to support ongoing pandemic influenza planning.
