Tell us Why You’re Proud to be an ONA Nurse!

The past two months have been some of the most professionally challenging experiences Oregon nurses have ever had. Many of us have had to fight to get access to PPE, fight for access to testing for ourselves, and fight to improve protocols everywhere from home health settings to inpatient of the biggest hospital systems.

What hasn’t wavered throughout has been our pride in being professional nurses and health care providers, and the fact that nurses are so much stronger when we stick together.

Nurses week is approaching, and now more than ever, nurses should be proud of not only the life-saving work we perform, but also the life-saving advocacy we do for our patients, communities, and coworkers! As frightening and uncertain as the past months have been, we got through it together by supporting one another.

Send us a short video explaining why you’re proud to be an ONA nurse and we might choose it for inclusion in a very special ONA video celebrating the skill, compassion, and dedication of our amazing members!
